Abstract for paper by Joseph W. Koterski, S.J. (Associate Professor, Fordham University)
This paper will focus on UFL’s foundation and history. Beginning in 1990, UFL has tried to provide a forum for pro-life scholars to present their research and to publish the results of their studies on abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Our conferences have resulted in the annual publication of the Proceedings each year under the title of Life and Learning. In addition, the organization has published a quarterly newsletter Pro Vita and has sponsored various amicus curiae briefs for important legal cases.
