The
American Family Association is a nationwide
organization with 200,000 members which promotes the
Biblical ethic of decency in American society, with
primary emphasis on building strong families. The AFA
believes that most of society's problems -- the drug
abuse, the poverty, the educational problems and the
violent crime -- are due, not to a lack of public
spending but rather a lack of public morals. Throwing
more tax money at these problems is often futile and
counterproductive. We focus special attention on the
effects and influence of the media, academia and
government.
The AFA of New York produces a
weekly public access cable television program which
currently airs throughout Long Island, Rockland
County, Buffalo, Albany, New York City and more,
reaching over 4,000,000 people each week. Click
"TV Schedules" on the menu to the left to
see the schedules for these weekly programs on
fourteen separate cable systems.
